The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the official notification for the UPTET 2026 examination under Adv. No. 01/UPTET/2026. Interested candidates can submit the online application from 27 March 2026 to 26 April 2026. The exam is conducted to determine eligibility for Primary (Class 1–5) and Junior (Class 6–8) level teachers in Uttar Pradesh.
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply UPTET 2026 Online Form through Official UPESSC Website i.e. https://upessc.up.gov.in/. The Online Application has started from 27 March 2026 and apply until 26 April 2026.

UPTET Primary Level (Classes 1–5) Eligibility
To apply for the Primary stage, a candidate must meet any one of the following criteria:
- D.El.Ed (BTC) : Graduate Degree + 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) – Passed or Final Year
- Shiksha Mitra : Graduate Degree + 2-year BTC (Distance Edu) – Passed or Final Year
- D.Ed (Special) : Graduate Degree + 2-year D.Ed (Gen/Special) – Passed or Final Year
- Specific BTC : Graduate Degree + Specific BTC / Urdu Special BTC – Passed or Final Year
- B.El.Ed : 12th (Inter) with 50% + 4-year B.El.Ed – Passed or Final Year
UPTET Junior Level (Classes 6–8) Eligibility
To apply for the Upper Primary stage, a candidate must meet any one of the following criteria:
- D.El.Ed (BTC) : Graduate Degree + 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) – or Final Year
- B.Ed (General) : Graduate/Post-Grad (50%) + B.Ed – Passed or Final Year
- B.Ed (NCTE Regs) : Graduate/Post-Grad (45%) + B.Ed (per NCTE norms) – Passed or Final Year
- B.Ed (Special) : Graduate/Post-Grad (50%) + B.Ed Special Education – Passed or Final Year
- B.El.Ed : 12th (Inter) with 50% + 4-year B.El.Ed – Passed or Final Year
- Integrated B.Ed : 12th (Inter) with 50% + 4-year BA.B.Ed / BSc.B.Ed – Passed or Final Year
- RCI B.Ed : Graduate (50%) + 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) – Passed/Appearing

How to fill UPTET 2026 Online Form
UPTET 2026 परीक्षा में शामिल होने वाले अभ्यर्थियों की सुविधा के लिए One Time Registration (OTR) व्यवस्था लागू कर दी गई है। उत्तर प्रदेश में शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा के लिए अब अभ्यर्थियों को आवेदन करने से पहले OTR प्रक्रिया पूरी करना अनिवार्य होगा।
आधिकारिक जानकारी के अनुसार, UPTET 2026 के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया 27 मार्च 2026 से शुरू होगी। अभ्यर्थियों को सलाह दी गई है कि आवेदन करने से पहले OTR की प्रक्रिया को सावधानीपूर्वक पूरा करें।
